personally i think it's the best performance in that movie and that he finds the tone better than everyone else. he's also lowkey fantastic in Joy he just gels with russell's sensibility really well.

I honestly think Driver was one of the top gems "discovered" by the 2010s. I really do think he's going to be one of the top A-listers in the world in the 20s/30s

That's why I'm on the fence with ST. I want to ignore it but I don't want to ignore his performance since it's so great. But outside of that, not much to recommend.

Damn yea honestly I thought Florida Project was much older than it actually is (thought like 2015 or something). I'll agree, Dafoe was much better than Pacino, and I think he would have been #6 pick so yea it could have happened.

Yeah, I doubt that they do. Fight on horses is the most we'll get until they fall and continue as hand to hand combat. I don't see how Scott can make that exciting all over again but we'll see. Audience is spoiled by:

Ridley Scott more or less set the standard with Gladiator. I'm sure he'll bring his A-Game.

I'm sure too. It's just that the story seems to be a procedural with only one action scene (the titual duel).

I thought this was stupid until Driver joined. Honestly, at this point I trust so much his choices, I would watch anything he is in.
