Not the most well known film on the list, but those that saw it loved it. Just 3 people voting for this managed to get it into the top half of the list, something that won't happen again.

Finally we get our second Hitchcock. I feel like This film falls apart at the end, but until then it's really good, with an interesting villain.

Wow! Reading the list of films that have been listed so far, I'm coming to realize I really need to see more films made before 1960.

The Marx brothers show up for the first time. I haven't seen this one but I did see a different Marx film, and their style really isn't my taste. Clearly though plenty of people still like this kind of thing.

Only Angels Have Wings has just about everything I could want from a movie. I'd happily watch it once a week. Maybe the greatest screenplay ever written. If an exotic locale-set romantic hangout adventure about a community of stoic but likable professionals sounds any good to you you owe it to yourself to check this out.

What I love most about the Marx Brothers is their anarchic, and total chaotic nature, they fit into any scenario, and you can see the "joyfulness" on screen, anytime they show-up to cause havoc. Duck Soup is the better film, but I think that sort of "chaos", was never better show on screen, then at A Night at The Opera, especially in the stateroom sequence. Groucho's remark "Is it my imagination, or is it getting crowded here in here", never fails to put a smile on me.

Buster Keaton returns to this list, but this time the film was on more than twice as many lists as Sherlock Jr, but had a lower average placing instead, possibly indicating that it is better known but not as liked.

I saw this one preparing for this list, and this was very good, albeit quite disturbing by the end. It was doing quite a bit better early on in the list, but as more votes came in it cooled off.
