Annabelle's run is strange. It feels like nobody ever really cared it was out, but it's doing well.

Crawl being the only competition probably helped a bit.

Figured OUaTiH rise would be small on Tuesday, it is the family movies that get by far the biggest boost from the day.

The real number for Hollywood will be where does its Wed number go.

Good jump for FFH. Will probably fall behind HC again today though.

I’m glad it passed $70m. Seems it’ll end about $215m worldwide. A big drop from Creations $306m though, despite the Warrens.

I’m expecting Conjuring 3 to go sub $100m domestically but bigger overseas. Maybe Creation numbers Worldwide.

Yeah, can definitely tell that families are making use of Tuesdays. Family or family drawing films almost always have the best increases, at least the last year or so.

Hollywood is fine, both first Tuesday, 70mm and special formats goosing the price keeps the Tuesday increase down. Hopefully Wednesday isnt horrid but its definitely on track for the 17-18m weekend.

Annabelle ended developing some really nice legs after all.

I enjoyed the movie. I won't try to claim it's the greatest horror of all time or anything, but it was effective, atmospheric, and well-acted. If you're a horror fan, it's certainly a good way to spend 2 hours.

That's where I have it landing this weekend as well. 55-57% drop.

Indeed, this was NEVER going to have a big Tuesday jump. Tuesdays definitely have different effects on different movies. Adult movies have smaller jumps. Premium format movies have smaller jumps. And longer-ish movies have smaller jumps (see: Endgame recently).

With SMH’s daily multiplier FFH would get to 405M and be the #1 Sony movie :ohmyzod:

Spoiler

There’s no way it has SMH’s daily multiply since 2017 Tuesday bumps were less pronounced

Not necessarily. Conjuring movies have been consistent and they are good. Unlike Anabelle only one movie is good not that much. Conjuring 3 will definitely be 100M+ and OS will be huge too
