Drop must have been very small.

VWL was only above OLS by 8k, also don't forget OLS & CWLS both playing , if say only OLS had it would have been much higher Gross as it is combining OLS CWLS 60% higher than VWL , BFI also suffers from capacity issue however hasn't stopped it in the past topping multis playing several screens. LS though has bigger drop off after week one compared to other sites. Edited December 18, 2017 by Rth Ragnarok

Wasn't the Thursday/Friday drop bigger than TFA?

SchumacherFTW
We've actually had a pretty stonking good year at the BO when you look at it that way.

Paramount had a shitty year, their highest grossing film will be Daddy's Home!
SchumacherFTW
I didn't realise TF missed £10m! 😂😂😂😂

That film actually did a lot better compared to the US. Pirates 5 actually had good legs considering it had a low OW, same with Wonder Woman. The biggest surprise of this year wasn't Dunkirk but IT, who'd thought a horror film would outgross Spider-Man and Thor.
Heretic
So TLJ has passed $50m as of Wednesday, and is probably around the $55m mark now. I expect it'll hit $70m (£53m) by Sunday, or just narrowly miss it. Edited December 22, 2017 by Heretic
Krissykins
Incredible numbers here in the UK for IT. Bigger than Spider-Man and Thor 3 and rated 15. Incredible.
MinaTakla
Great to see DM3 matching Minions as Illumination's highest grossing film in the UK!

Should do quite well as it'll be the first family film since Jumanji although it faces Early Man, the new Aardman film
Dan9
When we get weekly numbers - worth noting that most schools have still been in this last week, which will make it harder to compare to TFA. Pitch Perfect and Jumanji have looked pretty neck and neck on their first two days. Ferdinand will have a solid opening number considering its EIGHT days of previews, but it's still being affected by Paddington 2 for sure. Paddington is still doing big business, saw quite a few sellouts for it yesterday. £40m seems guaranteed.
