Honestly a mind blowing performance here, and it's showing no signs of slowing down yet. Probably will end nearer $60m mark. Wtf. I'm guessing the sing-a-long version helped a little for The Greatest Showman to stay flat. It is an unprecedented performance. Amazing. Avatree
Showman's run is incredible. What's it up to ££ now? Also - what are the odds of Cineworld Secret Screening on 13 March being Pacific Rim...? Hmm
SchumacherFTW
I'd be shocked if it were PR2. The last couple of have been fairly small scale.

SchumacherFTW
That actually seems a good shout. Needs WOM, involves keeping a secret etc.
Avatree
i agree would prefer to have something unusual since I'll see bigger movies anyway most likely. just thought PR2 maybe as it's going to absolutely bomb. Didn't they have Planet of the Apes a few years ago? Dawn?

My guess it's either Love, Simon or Isle of Dogs, I don't see it being a big tentpole film like Ready Player One. Love, Simon would make sense because it's released in the US three days after and Isle of Dogs is one of those smaller releases that would need a bit of buzz. Heretic
I imagine there'll be some impacts to the BO this week due to the snow. Some parts of the country, especially Scotland and places in the east are virtually cut off. Other parts of the country will have blizzard conditions tomorrow and into the weekend.

Dan9
Black Panther only dropped 46%... amazing what that drop could have been without the snow Red Sparrow with a £1.84m opening including Thursday previews.
Avatree
I'm in my seat at a Showcase for the first time. This is fab. Also tickets are cheap. Comfy recliner seats, everything is plush and clean. Why can't all cinemas be like this?!
