The WOM will be fine, it's a good movie so there is no reason to expect some problem about it. What's the problem with you and Rsyu? You just don't know anything about this, just an intuition. Of course the WOM will be good!
Noctis
Fullbuster, many are disappointed by the film. Calm your tits.

I love the movie but I don't think WOM is going to do the justice because I know people won't judge this movie on it's own merit. The comments I've heard from people who'd seen it were along the line of "It's good but it could be better". TA has set their expectation way too high. If it's another movie with the same quality the same people would have raved about it. Just look at the rating from SK. It's going to end up lower than IM3, what a joke.

This expectations unrealistically high like most sequels to beloved films and end's up in it being unfairly criticized! Well, I decided to ignore these people. For me it's not even the same quality : it's a bit better, and more ambitious..So what else could they want from it?

Fake
Avengers 2 is a very good film..... the only thing missing is the novelty factor. That gives a perception to some people that it isn't all that great.
Cynosure
In France it's getting good reviews from some papers but mostly the tabloids or the free newspapers (except 'Le Figaro'). But other newspapers specialised in cinema gave it more mixed reviews and 'Le Monde', one of France's most influential newspapers (the french Guardian), literally destroyed it with 1 star out of 4 despite 'Le Monde' generally not being as elitist as some cinema newspapers. theultimatebiu
Well, it's not realistic that's for sure, and unfair.. Why? I'm kinda sick of these posts. I have the right to compare TA2 to its predecessor and I don't have too lower my expectations to be impressed. My opinion is the movie is good not great. It runs too long, its uneven, zero character development and almost zero plot. I had fun but its not memorable or great. Others share that opinion and the rest don't. If you can't face opposing opinions or try to lessen someone's opinion based on some nonsensical reasoning....that is your issue alone.

Cynosure
Le Monde is still relatively elitist. A bit. But it's not 'Télérama', they usually won't destroy a movie just because it's popular which the specialised reviews do regularly.

I don't think it's a masterpiece or anything but FF7 seems to have more positive WOM than this because people seem to be less critical about it. Every movie should be judge by the same standard. Cynosure
That's true for stand-alone movies but when you're making a sequel it will inevitably be compared to the previous movie which is only fair after all.

All we are saying is some sequel's and film's are unfairly reviewed or hated on because some critic's hate movie's because of money they make and nothing make's more money then the Marvel universe at the moment. No, that isn't really fair. By that logic the next TF movie could get 50% RT score and be considered a masterpiece.....
Cynosure
Not a masterpiece but there would of course be WOM like 'it's better than the previous one' or 'it's the best one in the series'. That's what happens with sequels, can't have your cake and eat it too. When you make a movie deemed great by critics, you are expected to deliver with the next one, if you can't then don't make a sequel.
