SchumacherFTW
What are the chances AOU beats TDKR's total to take the comic book movie crown in the UK? One believes in Bane over Ultron.
keysersoze123
There are chances. You never know.
Heretic
I doubt it'll too TDKR. I see a total very similar to TA.

The Dark Alfred
Ultron's WoM is not strong enough to do that. Possible will finish third in the year.
Heretic
Probably. Spectre should win, and SW7 will be absolutely massive too.
MonstersandRoy
Probably. Spectre should win, and SW7 will be absolutely massive too. Recon Spectre will certainly beat SW7? It was freaky how Skyfall grossed almost as much as Casino Royale & Quantam of Solace combined. Wonder if Star Wars can have such an upsurge on the prequels. Should be a good end of year. It'll top £50m for sure, but I'm not sure how much higher. Nothing is certain though.
JCS
I think SW will be the 2015 winner, Skyfall was the perfect storm and SW will have that too whilst Spectre will get nowhere near £100M.
Rsyu
Why are you guys pessimistic for Spectre's chances this time around?
KATCH-2D2
Why are you guys pessimistic for Spectre's chances this time around? Maybe because if it isn't better than Skyfall a lot of people are going to be disappointed. SW7 doesn't have to beat that kind of expectation since it isn't hard to top the prequels. Heretic
Why are you guys pessimistic for Spectre's chances this time around? £100m won't happen. It was literally a perfect storm, but predicting £70m isn't pessimistic at all, only 5 films have ever topped that. Casino Royale made £55m and QoS made £51m. I'd say it has a very slight chance at the OW record, though. Edited April 28, 2015 by Heretic

Nothing will beat it in the next 10 years, especially without 3D.
Heretic
Ian Sandwell @ian_sandwell · 4h4 hours ago Avengers: Age of Ultron took £22.35m over its first seven days (Thurs 23-Weds 29) at the UK box office, a record for Disney. Ian Sandwell @ian_sandwell · 4h4 hours ago @francescasteele Don't have seven day total, but after eight days (i.e. going into second weekend), Avengers was on £21.7m. After 8 days, AoU should be at around £23.5m, and around £32m by Sunday. Monday will be big because it's bank holiday too, so essentially a 4 day weekend. Should be over $50m after Monday latest.
