Jonwo
I wouldn't be surprised if Dory remains number 1 this weekend. SS has had decent legs, the family films have done really well this summer. The BFG have had solid legs even considering the family competition from Dory and Pets
James
Suicide Squad might end up with better legs than Deadpool, BvS and Civil War no? Bad WOM lol.

Im surprised it's getting released at all, it'll be one and done IMO As summer comes to an end, it'll be interesting what'll do well in September. I think Bridget Jones will be a solid hit but I'm thinking The Magnificent Seven will do very well, maybe not huge numbers but £3-4m wouldn't surprise me

We get virtually everything that releases in the states, even if it takes a while, like Keanu last month as an example.

Given that it bombed in the US, I thought Universal would pull its release but guess they think they can make money even if it's a meagre amount

Heretic
It's been so hot all week here, temps easily above 30, and clear blue sky today, not good for cinemas. This weekend looks a bit more unsettled, but next week it looks warm and dry again, which has been the story all month. Dory has had an uphill battle, but it's still doing very well. If it had been a rainy August, it'd probably be over £40m already.
Krissykins
Going to see Bad Moms tonight at 8pm, sold out. The Purge: Election Year is busy too, despite the good weather.
Krissykins
The Shallows, Mike & Dave and Pete's Dragon all down to one showing already.
Jonwo
I think Dory probably will retain number 1 but I can see Bad Moms debuting in second place. SS will hit £30m this weekend for sure, if it hasn't done so already. Apart from Kubo, there isn't any major competition kids wise until Storks and Trolls in October so Dory will chug along to £40m.
JCS
Quote As expected, Finding Dory is now the biggest animation of the year in the UK with £34.3m to date.
SchumacherFTW
The Purge will underperform. I found my sisters boyfriend watching a perfect copy of it yesterday, and that's been available for weeks. Terrible move delaying it imo.
Krissykins
Local cinema was so busy tonight. Bad Moms was hysterical, got a huge reaction from the sold out audience.

Heretic
Big 50% drop for Dory, obviously good weather has had an impact, as bank holiday usually sees very small decreases or even increases.

Dory still has one more week of holidays so I think £40m is doable by next week or the week after as Kubo won't make much of a dent. Wonder if SS hit £30m this weekend? SchumacherFTW
Sausage Party looks ridiculous tomorrow, cinema I'm going to has sold out 16:30, and the 20:00 I'm going to is rammed!
