Deadline said that Frozen 2 had -43% drop on its 2nd weekend in UK....

Thought?

Same as Screen International described it: average/fine

Ford v Ferrari has died off quite quickly here. I noticed it’s showtimes were cut quite drastically last week at my local.

"Joker is still Warner Bros’ best-performing title, with a 54.3% drop on its ninth session giving it £231,000 and £57.5m in total. It should pass 2002’s The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers £57.6m for 22nd place in the all-time UK chart this week; the £61.1m of the next film, 2003’s The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King, may be beyond it."

So ScreenDaily doesn't believe that Joker will get to or surpass £61.1 million? Even with an awards extension?

Can frozen 2 surpass £60M in UK ?

Right now I’d say no, but it depends how much boost Christmas holidays give it. With Star Wars, Jumanji and Little Women (which could be a big hit over the holidays) there will be tough competition. Not sure about Cats potential.

Cats will either be this year's Greatest Showman or flop. It's very difficult to predict.

Frozen 2 is dropping faster than expected. 50% this past weekend to £4.4m. £60m definitely won’t be happening although with Christmas holidays approaching £50m is still in the cards.

TBF Jumanji had previews which would explain the higher drop.
