HalloFromGermany
So today is the first day of Terminator Dark Fate. Any chance it'll be #1 this weekend in the UK?

Pre-sales look very weak, Joker still looks busier around my area tonight.

Bart Allen
What is the current gross for Joker at the UK box office? Has it entered the £50 million range?

In France because school holidays, Joker weekdays ( Mon-Tue ) did better this week than last week but maybe because it's only second week there. It probably will give it a bit of a boost, but not on the same level as family films. 1

Looks like it will break a 22 year old record: surpassing the Full Monty to become the highest grossing R (15) rated film in UK history ~ 1

As expected target cinemas such as OLS and BFI IMAX are filling up fast. Not sure what the expect for this one, although I’d be surprised if it didn’t top TLK’s £75m for no.1 of 2019. TLJ made £82.7m, so perhaps around the £85-90m mark factoring in a bit of a finale factor. There's a fair bit of competition, there's Jumanji: The Next Level but also Cats. Jumanji should not be underestimated. It did $50m and almost 5x multiplier in the wake of Last Jedi. Not to mention Greatest Showman spawning too. I have to be honest, anecdotal or not, I'm seeing just as many people excited for Jumanji as there are for Star Wars. Now I'm not saying that Jumanji is gonna do £80m, but I think £40m+ is reasonable, and with that much going out, you can't help but think Star Wars will be affected some way. There's probably a tolerance they're using for not doing the front row or far side seats.

If weekday holds still going strong this week, possibly £ 47m at the end of this weekend right ? How high do you think it can reach, £55m possibly ?
