Fullbuster
$47M (£30.2M) total for TDKR so far. Rather big drop due to Olympics this weekend but should recover and have good legs. I knew it, it was predictable
redfirebird2008
Pretty sure TDK's final total was around $lc 40M. TDKR should pass that by the end of next weekend.Exchange rate is terrible compared to 2008 though. It will probably come up $20m short of TDK's gross, maybe an even bigger difference than that. This Friday moviegoing was generally depressed around the world, even more so in the UK.
JCS
I think TDKR will have trouble catching TDK's $ gross in the UK due to the exchange rate, but it should pass it in £ gross probably.
JCS
In other news, The Lorax had an okay OW with $3M in the UK (including previews).Cannot see it doing well, with IA4 raking in tons of $$$ as well as Brave releasing soon. Very daft release date for The Lorax...

SchumacherFTW
We do have some cracking lingo out here. My personal preference is using sod for many things.
redfirebird2008
So this drop seems pretty solid considering the Olympics. Where do you Brits think it will end up for the total?
The Dark Alfred
That's an impressive drop considering that Olympic craze begun and the weather is nice.
Fullbuster
UK could be the highest-grossing OS territory for TDKR, not bad at all This market is really impressive.
