The weather does look like it picks up again from the second week of August.
Jonwo
I'm curious to see Sound of Freedom does in the UK, I get it has become a huge hit domestically but releasing on the same day as The Equalizer 3 seems like a bad move.

Krissykins
Yeh Gran Turismo has showtimes and tickets available every day so it must still be coming out on the 11th as planned.

The Dark Alfred
Another fantastic weekend. Barbenheimer is smashing it. It's pissing down all week, so don't expect weekdays to slow down. Impressive for MI7 as well, tracking ahead of FALLOUT.

Barbie and Oppenheimer must have stayed more or less flat or had tiny decreases on Sunday? Great for holdovers too. Wonder if Barbie can make another £10m on weekdays this week. Heretic
Barbie is looking almost certain for $100m, and top 10 of all time is becoming increasingly likely. Top 30 all time and Dunkirk’s £56.8m well in Oppenheimer’s sights also.

And seriously feels like it's making a run for top 10 all time. Oppy is basically level pegging with Dunk after it's 2nd weekend. Should hold a bit better over coming weekends than Dunkirk did so £55m feels like a good bet.
Heretic
Good to also see some other milestones. MI7 is past £20m and on its way to a franchise best total. Across the Spidverse has also passed the £30m mark and is still making decent money more than 2 months after release. Indiana Jones, although down on its predecessor will pass the £20m mark very soon. Hopefully Elemental can also leg it past £20m with 4 more weeks still of school holidays.

This has been a very solid summer even without Barbenheimer. There have been flops but TBH you can't expect every film to be a hit but for cinemas, they've had a steady supply even though the volume is still below pre Covid. It's been fun reading the articles about how much food and beverages have been sold in cinemas. Ticket sales is one thing but the revenue from F&B must be the strongest in quite some time. The Dark Alfred
Can't see BARBIE finishing below ENDGAME, £90 is happening. OP as well have a very good chance to become Nolan's highest grossing film, I'd say £60m is in play.
