Terrifier Double £91k At least it was top 10, I guess. But still kind of impressive for a double bill of two straight to video films, IMO. Easy to focus on Megaflopolis but my god that's godawful for Never Let Go. Very poor start for The Outrun as well However, great hold for Beetlejuice (-23% Fri-Fri). Is it nearly at £20m? Boxofficerules Posted yesterday at 12:31 PM Share Posted yesterday at 12:31 PM (edited) Never Let Go opening below the Terrifier double is embarrassing considering it had showtimes all day and probably opened in more theaters. where is Hellboy? The should’ve gone straight to VOD with it like in the US. Surprised Terrifier was that low though considering it had loads of sell outs near me, some in fairly large screens too. Krissykins Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM At least Graham Norton is back for some promo. Gaga was on for Joker and Demi was on for The Substance.

Allanheimer
Speaking of Joker, seems to be selling pretty damn well here 5 days out. Definitely stronger than Beetlejuice at the same point and that's compared to my local and across the board at the Leicester Square theatres plus BFI. It was probably always gonna be an easier sell here with the nation's love for musicals and Gaga's box office track record. I'd say £8-10m+ right now.

Just checked my local and I’m going to guess around £5m instead.

NorthernBrit20
As a former employee within the cinema industry, I’m expecting Joker 2 to do very well. In my many years of experience working in multiple cinema’s, films that have such pre-sales in premium format follow through to have a good amount of walk ins on top. The only thing that could end this film quickly at the box office would be bad reviews. Even then, something tells me that a lot of people are curious about this film and want to see it for themselves. My tickets are getting booked anyway…
