JCS
My local Empire cinema has 99 showings for Skyfall this weekend, never seen so many!
Heretic
This is shaping up to be an absolutely monumental opening. Honestly wouldn't surprise me If it beats DH1's £18.3m opening. That would be almost $30m.
Fake
Yes, DH1 is the target to get now.
lab276
What's the OW record?
Heretic
DH2 opened to £23.9m. Nothing'll touch that for years.
Fake
Yup. Avengers 2 has got a shot, and it is only a shot.
Jonwo
Skyfall has three weeks to itself before Breaking Dawn part 2 opens. It should be up to £30m by its second weekend. Edited October 23, 2012 by Jonwo

SchumacherFTW
Thats quite the goal for it Heretic. I'm just hoping its second weekend is bigger than DH2. Anyone know what the second weekend record is actually?
Heretic
My cinema has 89 showing for Skyfall this weekend, with many double showtimes at 14:00, 19:30 and 21:00. Never seen that happen before. As for 2nd weekend record...I think Quantum Of Solace holds that with £9.2m, only a 40% drop from the opening. Due to the fact Skyfall opens right on top of half-term, I could see it beating that if it opens in the £18-20m range. And WOM is going to be absolutely phenomenal, so legs should be good. SchumacherFTW
My cinema is absolutely diddy compared to you, it's got 29 shows for the whole weekend. QoS, Really? Considering how maligned it is it didn't hold that badly did it?

Fullbuster
It comes out on Friday...IMDB said today!!! It's not the first time they're wrong, they're not reliable at all! I will read release dates somewhere else next time
SchumacherFTW
Even so, there aren't any midnight shows Fullbuster, so the first numbers will likely pop up late friday night/Saturday morning.
SchumacherFTW
Just looked at the Trafford Centre, i'm shocked, Skyfall has only got 4 more shows than Taken 2 this weekend! I was expecting 40 odd on OD like DH1 got there, this is at least half of that!

It's impossible it has that little. It should have at least 3 lines of showtimes. Edited October 23, 2012 by Heretic
