lab276
Well, I know it was a long time ago, but you had Crocodile Dundee which I consider as big as the titles I have mentioned. You can not never know if tomorrow you will have another movie like that. Nobody thought any of the movies I said would be as big as they have been. Never say never To be fair, we do get the occasional big movie like Moulin Rouge, Australia and Red Dog, but they rarely approach the relative heights that Intouchables, Impossible and Skyfall reach. Tower
It's crazy how well this is performing.
Fake
If this performance is mirrored in other markets, perhaps 900m WW isn't out of reach either.
lab276
I'm really interested to see how it does here, CR and QOS were both in the $31-32m range. Perhaps $40m.
SchumacherFTW
Considering how it's performing so far, what do you expect its jump to be like today Alfred?
JCS
What on earth!?!Skyfall is an absolute beast! Possible that 2nd weekend will be bigger than QoS and TDKR OW is amazing but at first, when I read the thread title, I nearly spat out my drink. I thought it was some kind of joke... Jessie
This performance is far more impressive than TA's performance in the US. To me, it's the success story of the year.
Heretic
This is the equivalent of around a 180m opening in the US dropping to 140m on its 2nd weekend.

Fullbuster
This performance is far more impressive than TA's performance in the US. To me, it's the success story of the year.Don't exaggerate, The Avengers is on another scale...
SchumacherFTW
Not really. Doing a straight forward comparison, Skyfall is bigger in the UK than Avengers was in the US. Did Avengers hit $30m/$40m weekdays? That's basically the equivalent of Skyfall's here. Edited November 3, 2012 by Schumacher FTW
Heretic
The equivalent of Skyfalls will-be $120m+ will be the same as over $700m in the US.
