Heretic
That is horrid for Pirahna.I expect TA to be in the mid £40m's by Sunday. Edited May 14, 2012 by Heretic
SchumacherFTW
B. O. M. B. That is diabolical for Piranha! Hopefully going to watch it tomorrow before it disappears.
stuart360
I didn't even realise Piranha was out, i have literaly only seen 1 advert and that was a couple of days ago.
Krissykins
I have seen loads of promotion for Piranha so that is certainly a flop. The original made £1.5m in its opening weekend so £0.24m is shocking.Catching it tomorrow. Along with Silent House, which also flopped. Jonwo
Avengers and American Pie had good drops especially American Pie which had a big five day opening, DS did decently but it could have done a bit better. the other openings were shocking,
Lordmandeep
So TA is heading for 50 million pounds?

Olive
China may be end up to 100 mil, can UK gross more?
Heretic
Nope. $80m is already WAY higher than everyone's expectations. Most thought $50m at best.Competition from MIB3, Prometheus and Snow White will stop this from going much higher than $80m.
Heretic
The Dictator is getting one HELL of a lot of show-times. Like, blockbuster level. For the 5 day, I think it could gross similar to American Pie 4.Also, The Avengers is re-gaining full IMAX this weekend. 5 shows a day. Heretic
It could reach 85m, but I don't know if late legs will be strong enough. So, it seems it'll be close.
Robertron
Then china will be TA's#1 OS market, 85m, beating UK's 80m! It's not really surprising that China will be the biggest for films.Soon it will be DOM + China + Other...

SchumacherFTW
Piranha's pulled off an amazing feat at my local. Safe and The Lucky One were scheduled to be cut in favor of The Dictator tomorrow, now they've reinstated them and cancelled Piranha. It's doing THAT badly near me. Good thing too, it really was bad, sans David Hasselhoff.
Jonwo
Piranha 3DD should have been released Direct to DVD/VOD.
SchumacherFTW
After seeing it, i'm really inclined to agree, even though I was really excited about seeing it as I adored Piranha 3D.
Jonwo
Think How I Spent My Summer Vacation was intended for VOD/DVD but somehow got a cinema release.
