Somebody posted this fantastic resource on reddit, we can find the admissions data for the UK!

A selection of movies below, surprising how high Avatar's admissions were (given the high price)!

Infinity War - 9,190,814 (http://lumiere.obs.coe.int/web/film_info/?id=77575)

TFA - 17,004,399 (http://lumiere.obs.coe.int/web/film_info/?id=63935)

Titanic - 18,953,429 (http://lumiere.obs.coe.int/web/film_info/?id=8001)

Skyfall - 16,147,254 (http://lumiere.obs.coe.int/web/film_info/?id=40163)

Avatar - 16,514,063 (http://lumiere.obs.coe.int/web/film_info/?id=32191)

I've never known about this before, didn't even know we could get admissions data for the UK!

That part you get to see also for the 2018... overview, only change the 2019 to 2018 or click on the 2018 at the let upper corner

http://www.insidekino.com/BO/GB2019.htm

All time admissions long list (its actually 107 not 100 like the link implies) but only till 2005, as 2006 their per year system for UK starts

http://www.insidekino.com/DJahr/GBAlltime100.htm

forgot to add: left column ) UK, the two on the right side are the admissions for Germany and France, no idea why they are listed in such a way.

I thought it released at the weekend just gone? I watched it yesterday, not many people there. Utterly mindblowing though

But if they released it at the weekend (hmm I did the report, but as that always includes many titles...) I guess than it is not good it isn't in the top 5 of Monday?

I think it'll do alright, on par with Kubo. Stop-motion is always a more niche audience anyway.

Opening is similar to Kubo, so I think it is good. Thanks for reporting the daily ranking

I was just checking the Avengers Endgame midnight showings at my nearest Cineworld (Sheffield - 20 screens) and including the double bill showings, they’ve currently got 14 screens playing Endgame at midnight, with nearly all of them completely sold out or just a smattering of random seats left, and they’ve got a 3:45am IMAX show that is likely to come very close to selling out. Even Star Wars TFA didn’t have as many sold out midnight showings, and the TFA 3:30am show only got to around half full.

The Odeon (10 screens), Curzon (3 screens) and Light (9 screens) have it playing on every screen they’ve got and are practically sold out too.

The UK midnight/previews record is definitely going down.

Looks like Hellboy and Wonder Park are heading for low OW if neither were in the top five. It's interesting that Dumbo has done better in the week than Shazam.

It's so gloomy and depressing. Tends to resonate with them. That or temporary childhood escape from Brexit. One of the two.

Dumbo's having some really nice legs in the UK, France, Spain, Italy etc - unlike the US.  This w/e it should pass MPR's O/S total as it already stands at $152.7m

Other new openers this weekend, Wild Rose charted at No.6 and Little at No.8.

Wonder Park has the third highest opening for an animation released this year after How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World and The LEGO Movie 2.
