keysersoze123
To me smaller asian markets and europe have been most impressive. Its increasing big in local currencies. I guess 1st one became phenom post BO run and so 2nd one had huge room to grow.

Jonwo
Last Christmas had a really good drop, I think if it can hold well until Boxing Day then £14-15m isn't out of the question. Edited November 25, 2019 by Jonwo 1
RJ 95
This week Joker also had surpass TDKR (£56.3m) to become highest grossing solo SH movie ever with £57m. Edited November 25, 2019 by RJ 95
Heretic
Joker is going to get so close to £60m but may just miss it. Either way, incredible run.

Looking forward to it. Was half full when I booked earlier, but generally Odeon Coventry is a quieter theater. Sidenote: It would help if I didn't still have Into the Unknown stuck in my head all damn day

The third highest comic-book film of all time- it's become the highest DC movie of all time in the UK, whilst also surpassing 21 of 23 MCU films (including The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron) 1. Avengers: Endgame £88.4 million 2. Avengers: Infinity War £70.8 million 3. Joker £57.1 million 4. The Dark Knight Rises £56.3 million 5. The Avengers £51.9 6. Black Panther £50.6 million But how far can it go? Even with an awards expansion, and undoubtedly with the BAFTA awards next year? Heretic
Knives Out is doing very well tonight. I can see this having a pretty strong opening, perhaps £5-6m 5 day, and great legs too. Wouldn’t be surprised with £20-25m, maybe more. British people adore films like this.
Krissykins
Knives Out was packed last night, unfortunately on a small room because of Frozen. Joker is even more impressive when you remember that it was rated 15 so there is zero family element here.
Krissykins
Knives Out was sold out on Friday when I went and Last Christmas was sold out today at 17.50. The cinemas are busy.

Heretic
Knives out opened with $3.8m. Lower than I initially thought. It performed very well in my local cinemas, maybe it wasn’t on the same level throughout the country. Nevertheless, a solid opening and it should have good legs. Considering everything else in cinemas atm I'd call this a win, I couldn't get a seat when I went to Stratford Vue on Friday. Definitely going to be a WOM kind of hit. It’ll be a big midweek player.
