Krissykins
Free Guy is being pushed heavily here. 20 and 17 showings at my two locals from Friday. It’s getting all of the SuperScreen showings too. Sponsored ads on all social media platforms are constant every day. Billboards, busses, TV spots.

Krissykins
I went to see Zola on Friday but it wasn’t great. All new releases missed the top 5. This Friday: Free Guy Don’t Breathe 2 Paw Patrol The Courier

Got to admit though, I’m intrigued by the rating.

I've seen 3 movies in ScreenX now, and have no comprehension why anybody thought it was a good idea. As for Don't Breathe being an 18, first thing that's gotten me interested in it, and quite a lot at that.

The cinema that I go to barely even shows anything on it anymore, they tend to just use it as a normal screen. At least with 4DX you can see why people might use it (it’s not for me, but it’s got an understandable gimmick for people with ADD), but just extending the screen with visual information that isn’t even part of the film just seems totally pointless. Give me IMAX over that any day. Edited August 9, 2021 by SnokesLegs

It’s interesting when an 18 is released these days. Zola was an 18 too, but it had a lot of full frontal nudity. Plus violence, language, drugs, sexual violence etc.
Krissykins
Great weekend. I’m amazed Escape Room 2 even passed £1m considering its shoddy screen allocation. The Suicide Squad, Space Jam 2 and Jungle Cruise all heading comfortably over £10m is a great sign of some further recovery.

I lost count of how many ass shots there were 😂
