Only seems like it’s Cineworld’s “SuperScreens” though unfortunately which I don’t personally think are worth the extra cost (they’re just bigger screens, but still only standard projection equipment), no IMAX or Dolby Cinema. It does seem to be getting the biggest standard screens though, so that’s good. Screen 6 and 8 in Sheffield are essentially SuperScreens but without the price uplift (IMAX didn’t like the idea of them charging for SuperScreens when they had the Laser IMAX installed a few years back, they thought it’d take customers away from the IMAX screen if they undercut them with another cheaper “premium” format). Doesn’t seem to have been an issue in London though, but I’m not complaining about cheaper tickets for the same experience.
Krissykins
I think the SuperScreen is great, I always forget just how big and loud it is. The seats are great too. Horror doesn’t often usually get shown on it, which is why I’m so happy about this.
Dandeak2000
At my usual cinema (An ODEON) - Candyman is getting iSense and Free Guy will be in Dolby. Candyman is in bigger screens along with Free Guy too
Krissykins
Went to see Censor last night, it was ok but a little disappointing. I thought The Night House was better. It was busy though with an older audience, I’m guessing it because it only has one showing and got a 5/5 review from Mark Kermode lol. I saw Censor the other night too, I was fully on board with the first 50 minutes, it had an interesting premise and was well acted and directed…and then all of that went out of the window in a bizarre way that just didn’t work at all. I understood what they were going for, but I felt it undermined everything that came before it. Typical British media massively overhyping British films again (same happened with Saint Maud for me). SchumacherFTW
Pretty sure every British horror film gets "Best British Horror in years" hype. Still nothing that's gotten close to Dog Soldiers for me 👀 1

I loved Saint Maud and His House last year. But I agree on Censor, such a great idea but the last half didn’t land. And it felt way longer than 84 mins. I’d say The Descent, Eden Lake, Saint Maud, Donkey Punch, Ghost Stories, 28 Days Later, Dog Soldiers, Kill List are some of my favourites.

It looks like it was made on a cam corder. One of the earlier scene with him in the church was frightening
