Think we’re heading for another HUGE Saturday. Looking around me there are sellouts everywhere, literally looks identical to last weekend. Wouldn’t be surprised with a £6m Saturday.

Yep more, looks like be under 30% drop, might hit 53m cume by end of weekend, See how it goes.

Amazing for NTTD! Can someone put where were the Craig's Bond films after the second weekend? And how much in dollars would be 80m pounds? Thanks!

- Skyfall £53.4m after a £16.1m second weekend

- Spectre £64m after £13.1m (but opened on a Monday, 3 extra days vs NTTD)

- Quantum of Solace £31.5m after £8.2m

- Casino Royale £27.9m after £8.5m

Spectre made another £31m after the 2nd weekend, and I can’t see NTTD making less considering the 2nd weekend is quite a lot higher, so £80m is almost a done deal. I’d say £85m is the current target.

£80m with current FX rate is $109m.

To break into top 5 of all time, needs to top Endgame’s £88.7m. Will see how the next few weeks hold as quite a lot of upcoming competition, although that never seems to have a big impact on Bond.

Interesting thing to keep in mind is the potential for Half Term impact later in the run compared to the last few Bond movies. After the 4th weekend it'll have no PLF left, but half term will definitely have an impact. Going to be an interesting few weeks. If it can stay over £10m next weekend though we're definitely in for something special.

with a Venom/Halloween/Last Duel triple threat, I’m thinking 50% drop is inevitable.

That's amazing. 2 months ago I would have been happy with a 16m Opening weekend

Especially since it’s losing the main evening PLF’s to Venom 2 from Friday. I wouldn’t be surprised to see NTTD remain number 1 though, anyone know what the first Venom opened to in the UK?

£8 million. Although I believe it opened on a Wednesday, so that’s 5 days.

For NTTD to be ever so slightly under Skyfall's first week's total despite having no half term lift is really impressive.

I'm expecting Venom 2 to open to £5-6m, the short runtime will work in its favour as they can squeeze in more showtimes. I think NTTD might edge it by £1m or so to remain number 1 but I expect it'll be dethroned by Dune the week after.
