That drop for The Last Duel is brutal. They really should have put that one out in November or early December rather than in the kill zone of October.

I don't think The Last Duel would have done well at any time. I suspect Disney wanted released quickly so they can put it on Disney+ in December. I imagine House of Gucci will do very well though although that's a Universal release.

The French Dispatch did solidly, it's not as high as The Grand Budapest Hotel but that film was released in a quieter month.

NTTD leads on Monday. 🥳

besides, it seems to me that it is the holidays, so I hope for good numbers.

How high do we think NTTD can reach on the all time list?

In my opinion, it's almost sure that NTTD will take the 5th place ahead of AEG (£88.7M). The 4th and 3rd place of Avatar (£94M) and Spectre (£95.2M) is possible but it is 50/50 at the moment, it will depend on his legs in the coming weeks, at the end of the run and during the holidays which have just started.

Half Term having an impact for the two family films, but Bond still #1.

I went to see Hocus Pocus last night, it had a second show added due to demand and both were sold out. Not enough for top 5 though unlike Scream.

Scream had a lot less competition though, I wouldn't be shocked if Hocus Pocus did more money. Was in a bigger screen at my cinema.

Ah it was in the same screen at mine, I’m sure they’ll report the numbers next week.

I wonder how Last Night in Soho will do this weekend with its 18 rating? I imagine it will do quite well in London.

I’m still amazed it’s an 18, nothing in the film warrants that rating. I’m going to guess around £600k.

Have you seen the film? I think there is one scene that is quite excessive in terms of content for the rating. Obviously won't mention which scene so I don't spoil it.
