Hopefully will do well with mid-week audiences It actually made more than I guessed. 5 films above £1m is great to see
Krissykins
Disney didn’t report Hocus Pocus for some reason? That PTA for the Blade re-release is grim. £20k from 183 cinemas. Halloween Kills held steady on the festive weekend, falling just 1.2% with £759,241 taking it to £4.6m from three sessions. Great hold for Halloween Kills.

Great hold for Halloween Kills. Not surprised by HK’s hold, I saw it again last night and it was practically sold out. Cineworld hired a Michael Myers cosplayer to walk up and down the screen half way through, my Dad nearly shit himself 😂

That it's on track to land number 3 all time is insane. I do wonder if it would have made much more with or without pandemic - bizarrely enough, being the first truly massive film post pandemic might have given it an all round boost with more casual audiences. Dune should get to £20m with a 3x multi off this weekend. I wonder if it can get to £22m to dethrone Shang-Chi for number two of 2021 spot? In any case, Spiderman will easily out-do it come December. Still unsure on Eternals - personally, the middling reviews have put me off quite a bit...

Would be a remarkable break of the rules for a Uni theatrical title. I know we’ve had WB and Disney titles break the U.K. 4 month to retail rule this year, but all of those were HBO Max/Disney PA titles. Having a look at Eternals sales so far for this Friday, you wouldn’t think it was an MCU film. Also, where is the advertising?

Outside the occasional bus advert there’s barely been anything, I haven’t seen any TV ads yet. The trailer’s played before every film I’ve seen since at least August though, so maybe they’re thinking the UK is aware of it since everyone and their dog saw Bond. Looking at the presales though, it doesn’t look like anyone cares… 4 minutes ago, SchumacherFTW said: Just checked Ghostbusters screenings at my local, 5 of 15 for opening weekend. Yeah I guess it will be releasing on 100+ locs for sure but won't do much. UK is dying market for Bollywood. Used to do 2.5M range in 2000s now struggle to cross 1M.
