Update #3: For Week 5, Homecoming had better overall holds than Far From Home. Aside from Monday, Far From Home has actually held better on weekdays in terms of week-on-week drops so we can't rule out 400 million just yet

Good wom for Dora? Where it's audience rating is 73%. Pretty bad actually for a family film

Ugh. Please don't give legitimacy to the RT All Audience score. That is very prone to review bombing. If you want an audience score, choose the RT Verified Audience score because at the very least, you would know that the ones who gave the scores were proven to have bought the tickets and have seen the movie.

Thanks for the information. It's definitely a weird system.

Do they have something like RT's way of verifying if someone has seen the movie?

They have 0 measure (There is no foolproof way to verify that users have actually seen the movie that they are voting for, or that the vote that they are casting is what they really think about it. We depend on and expect our users to be truthful and only vote on those movies that they have personally seen.)

Considering IMDB is quite about the history of movies complete database and not much about what is currently playing, it would be really hard to make a verification system a la Fandango, they could easily restrict to amazon member that have seen the movie via amazon but that would go quite around the spirit of the affair, ranking movies is a big part a way to keep track of what they seen for their users.

I wonder if Sony would try to get FFH past 400 if its “natural” run was heading toward 398 or something. Not too unlikely a scenario.

The legendary fudge-masters behind Spectre? Of course they will.

Meh, it was actually profitable to fudge Passengers and Spectre. 400 is no benefit but for the nerds who care.

Good point. I still think they would though.

They wouldn't have to try nearly that hard with SM though if it's looking to end near 398.  They can just expand it on Labor Day.

Papa Feige knows to give the nerds what they came here for, and to flex on all the normie producers. Black Panther didn't need to hit 700M, but Papa Feige knew he had to do it for us.

8 movies between 400m to 410m dbo, 0 between 390 and 400, would not surprise me if they love those round number benchmark bragging rights.
