TDW wasn't even top 100 😮

Hulk over AM&tW is quite the travesty though.

Looks like Batman begins made the elite 11 (and 6 MCUs, Logan, TDK, SM2, Spiderverse?), only one more place it can fit in for my prediction to TMP to come true

It is disappointing that the top 20 is like 90% superheroes.

I mean that's because those are the most watched.

Sucks to see Josie and the Pussycats so low though. It's the best movie ever.

I thought Edge of Tomorrow wasn't eligible. I voted for it (giving an alternative 31) but I think many people didn't because it was said that it was based on a novel, not a manga.

Pretty much left that up to the voters discretion

So did I, it would have made my top 15 if it was.

Synopsis: After stealing a mysterious orb in the far reaches of outer space, Peter Quill from Earth is now the main target of a manhunt led by the villain known as Ronan the Accuser. To help fight Ronan and his team and save the galaxy from his power, Quill creates a team of space heroes known as the "Guardians of the Galaxy" to save the galaxy.

Critic Opinion: "On the surface, Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel’s latest movie, is an origin story, too. Given the obscurity of the source comic, it has to be: Our heroes, a bunch of alien rogues, were introduced briefly in a 1969 issue of Marvel Superheroes, played benchwarmers to the likes of the Avengers for about 50 years, then were revived by writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning in 2008 to middling sales. To counteract the risk of the venture we follow recognizable white male Chris Pratt, newly buff and emotional, playing Peter Quill, a boy who was abducted by aliens and now calls himself “Star-Lord.”  Sensibly, Peter’s chosen alias is roundly mocked by his fellow Guardians in the film—as is his masculinity, wooing capabilities, general leadership, and other qualities that usually endorse newbie heroes in tights. Pratt is at the point in his career when critics would label him an “unlikely leading man”; here he actually plays one to his scrappy, squabbling intergalactic crew. As the title suggests, they’re the real heroes of this kinda-sorta-superhero movie. If Guardians of the Galaxy is an origin story, it is also a satire of the origin story, one that emphasizes the power of the “We” over that of the “Chosen One.”" - Katie Kilkenny, The Atlantic

User Opinion: "Guardians of the Galaxy is easily the best Marvel Cinematic Universe film made so far. Although the jokes may grow old after many rewatches, that doesn't change the quick-paced nature of them, which never fails to give me a grin. The character-work in this film is astounding, where all five main characters have a great emotional arc that pay off in truly heart-wrenching ways. The action is pretty great for a first-time blockbuster director, and the ensemble cast plays off each other in a way rarely seen in films of this type.  Excellent cinematography makes this film much more enjoyable than would be expected. Particularly, the jokes that hold up the best are visual ones, playing with background or composition in truly fun ways. The Marvel connective moments that rear its head at points are annoying, but there are remarkably few here compared to their other introduction films. Guardians of the Galaxy is remarkably engrossing thanks to fantastic characters and a tight script, all directed with a surprising panache. Quite possibly the most original these films will ever get." - @Blankments

Commentary: One of the most original films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy takes the classic superhero origin story for a few twists and turns to deliver a popular, crowd pleasing hit.  Prior the movie's release there were clubs such "GOTG under TIH" that were popular on the forum, it wasn't expected to deliver like prior Marvel films had at the box office.  However, thanks to a dynamic cast, colorful visuals and a unique cosmic universe to play around in, GOTG expanded what the MCU could include and could be.  It also includes the best final villain defeat in the MCU,
