That good or bad

Well, the first one did $735,000. So this is a lot less.

Very strong for GB. Should get close to mid 20s for the weekend.

Strong for Good Boys, not so much for 47 Metres Down.

Imagine how big GB would’ve been 10 years ago.

Guessing $24m and $7m

Very good for GB, hoping it can crack 25. Guessing legs will be very strong for it

Wow Good Boys really came out of nowhere and now it's doing great.

If we assume it has a similar IM to previous shark movies:

The Meg — $5.85m

The Shallows — $6.54m

47 Meters Down — $7.86m

And other August horror movies:

Scary Stories — $4.62m

Slender Man — $5.86m

Annabelle 2 — $4.51m

Even the best case scenario is pretty lackluster.

Comedies aren't dead yet!

Based Tyler Perry keeping the genre alive single handedly!

I knew this one could be that little breakout the genre urgently needed. Thank God!

I miss those good old comedies.

Great for Good Boys! This has been a lackluster time for R-rated comedies.  Hopefully around $25 million or so.

Not surprised about 47 Meter Cashgrab. It’s unnecessary

Using IMs of previous R-rated comedies to compare Good Boys with:

Tag — $23.69m

Blockers —  $28.79m

The Spy Who Dumped Me — $26.75m

Happytime Murders — $21.0m

Hitman's Bodyguard — $28.06m

$25m+ is definitely doable.

It's amazing how bad this year has been for comedies compared to 2018.

If this does hold to a mid 20s weekend, and gets a 3X multiplier, that's a pretty great performance.

Great start for Good Boys!

Not a great start for Exactly The Same Number Of Meters Down!
