It's a decent movie, right up until the last 20 minutes, and then it gets really, really good.  The shark attacks in this one are a little hokey and some of the deaths are hard to see.  But there's also some really good tension all throughout.  There's also a really nice homage to the Sam Jackson death in Deep Blue Sea.  All four leads are very nice to look at and Sistine Stallone (yep, Sly's daughter) is just all kinds of beautiful.  Jamie Foxx's daughter is as well.

Overall, it's a good effort.  Not quite as good as the first, not as good as Crawl, but still pretty well done.

7/10

At first, I hated the last 2 shark attacks at the end, since they were both so unrealistic. Then I remembered blind great whites in an ancient cave.

Not a bad movie overall, as far as recent shark movies though, doesn’t hold up as well as the original or The Shallows.
