Actually, I see what's going on. It takes place in the middle of Solo. INTERESTING! @cookie Edited August 24, 2019 by Porthos
Jayhawk the Hutt
It looks like Kenobi is after the prologue of Solo and before the main storyline of Solo?
Valonqar
I think Maul is totally happening for Obi Wan.
cookie
According to the timeline Galaxy's Edge is set before TRoS and the end of Resistance. Really cool how all this stuff intertwines with one another.
Jayhawk the Hutt
Don’t Maul and Kenobi face off in Rebels for the first time since TPM? I guess they don’t have to meet face to face.

Also reallllllly makes me suspicious now about Crimson Dawn and Maul. Really really realllllllly suspicious. Could even be a back-door prequel for a Crimson Dawn/Qi'ra/Maul series. I know Ray Park is certainly up for it.

That doesn't make any sense in regards to the ages of Obi Wan and Solo
Valonqar
Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi, electrified the audience when he emerged following the announcement of his involvement in a new series taking place eight years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, where we last saw Obi-Wan delivering the infant Luke Skywalker to his Tatooine homestead. https://www.starwars.com/news/the-galaxy-far-far-away-just-got-a-little-bigger So 8 years after ROTS. 1

I guess they don’t have to meet face to face. Kenobi finds out about Crimson Dawn and thwarts some of their plans on Tatooine but Maul never finds out about Kenobi. Simple. Not saying it's going to happen. But there are whispers out there of More Maul coming and a cameo in this would fit quite nicely.

dudalb
I suspect that a lot of the ABC TV sessions will be damage control for the Sean Spicer/Dancing With The Stars fiasco.

Jayhawk the Hutt
This will definitely be the highlight IMO. As Disney intended. Disney+ is one of the most important projects in company history.
