Nice poster. WB actually makes pretty decent posters for its blockbuster films compared to Marvel.

It’s not the same name…

 

This one has an ‘s’ at the end of it.

 

Come to think of it, assuming this movie really is some kind of meta commentary on franchise revivals and nostalgia cashgrabs, then maybe it should’ve been called ‘The Matrix Rebooted’ instead.

Interesting Poster.   I felt "Reloaded" had the best posters of the franchise.   It seems they got Yahya in the Morpheus Reloaded outfit in that poster:

 

   

 

 

Anyways I think the Box Office Prospects are pretty good even with HBO Max.   Wednesday Opening to soften demand before holidays and then Christmas Eve is 1st Friday than Christmas Saturday.   Then New Years Eve 2nd Friday and New Year's 2nd   Saturday.   Yes Spidey will be there but with the R-Rating, Matrix will attract an older audience.

Reviews will determine whether this crosses $100m or not. Even if reviews are positive, I do not see it doing much more than $100m at all.
