Did Universal edit from the screenplay the things that would make this DARK UNIVERSE or will they still be there. I must admit I liked the idea of DARK UNIVERSE and how Russel Crowe's(Hyde) secret organization was being set up.

@MCKillswitch123 monster ODs for Variações and Angel Has Fallen. This is why NOS Cinemas can tell Universal to eat shit plain and simple. The big bucks come from their cinemas and if Universal movies are not playing in NOS Cinemas then people will simply see something else. Especially if the movie doesn't have Fast & Furious in the title. Good Boys is gonna be a massive bomb. Downtown Abbey, Abominable and Cats next.

One person on Universal's facebook saying Good Boys wasn't playing in Madeira, and Universal mentioning Cineplace Madeira and the dude was all like no thanks. This is amazing. People will side with the theater chain.

I've been a bit out of the loop lately. Is that a good OD number for Ready or Not?

It is. Should make around $10M for the 5-day frame at least which is better than anyone probably expected. I can't help but think that the drama surrounding The Hunt has boosted its profile given both use "hunting people for sport" as the basis for a thriller, except Ready or Not isn't a blatantly obvious metaphor for modern day politics like The Hunt (in which the people being hunted are called "deplorables" at one point according to those that read the script) is.

Thanks, and I would agree. It looked like a fun concept before the Hunt drama but now it's looking like a go-to for folks who were looking forward to that one.

Uh, the "Hunt for A Man" has been around since the short story "THe Most Dangerous Game" was published in 1926, with a film version in 1933.

Been used hundreds of times.
