Really impressed with Ready or Not. It’s 4 day could be just $1m down from last weekend.

I actually hope it doesn’t have a gigantic theatre count drop next weekend. SpiderMan, Toy Story will have the biggest plummets.

Annabelle Creation only fell 46% in the face of IT Chapter 1 so we’ll see.

Anyway, using the 11M Deadline posted for the 4-Day, that puts Good Boys at 58M, which is on par with Hitman's Bodyguard at the same point in time. Hitman's Bodyguard increased on the 3-Day, so that really shrunk the gap between the two. It'll have to hold really well the next couple weeks to cross 80M.

Very much a hohum Labor Day overall. Good but not great holds across the board. Hopefully IT2 comes on stronger than it looks next week.

Also surprised(ish) at how quickly TS4 fell off pace for 440m once August hit. The lack of family films until then really buoyed it up.

I don't remember the last immediate, two years later sequel to a major blockbuster that had less hype than It 2. Yes, obviously a hurricane is impact South Florida this weekend and nobody is talking about movies - but this is weeks of (anecdotal!) evidence from comparing my social media feeds and my friends to last time around. But buzz feels.....very slight right now, compared to the massive trailer views and the memes and the buzz around the first one. Thinking under 100m OW frankly. The first one really had a big novelty factor.
