Story is filled with Peter Pan logic, which is fine for Peter Pan, not so much for horror. I know I'm likely criticizing the book by saying this, but none of it makes sense.

Also to clarify again, while its hard to argue that KoTM was a success, it certainly wasnt a flop either

maybe miss-used words but you get what I mean. Blaming Disney is just lazy. Focus on why GA isn't interested in what you make, right?

A lot of the flaws in CHapter 2 pretty much come from flaws in the novel.

 

No secret the consensus is that parts of the novel dealing with the Losers as grown ups were not as good as the parts dealing with the Losers as kids.
