For this coming weekend, Joker's got the second highest number of daily screenings at my Cineworld. Also has the late IMAX showing. Considering it's in its sixth weekend, it's pretty much showing no serious sign of stopping. Obviously, it's still dropping, but at a very slow pace, considering it opened big and constantly had great holdovers. Fair to say the UK loves the movie.

Just to put that into perspective

13 consecutive weekends at #1:

Titanic (1998)

7 consecutive weekends at #1:

Toy Story 2 (2000)

Gladiator (2000)

6 consecutive weekends at #1:

The World's Not Enough (1999)

5 consecutive weekends at #1:

Star Trek Generations (1995)

A Bugs Life (1999)

Bridget Jones's Diary (2001)

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)

Joker (2019)

It's highly likely it'll hit 6 consecutive weekends

Joker is number one in Egypt now with 37 millions in egp.

But has it broken R-rated records? Or the October release?

Thanks!

I'm doing some research and I believe that Joker may be the highest grossing October film in Egypt - surpassing El Gezira 2's $35 million (EGP) But I need to check because one of the websites only goes back as far as 2011.

Now joker os at 645 millions

Is it through Wednesday??

Maybe but I doubt it, last week they post 14m weekdays. Ten when Monday comes, actual weekdays shows 24.8m.

So if it follows same pattern like last week it will get 13.7m but anything above 11m already good for me.

Let's wait for Screendaily usually what they reported is closest to actual weekdays.

Since this is the third time it's happening, I think I got the hang of it.

Mojo update: through tuesday

Screendaily update on friday: through wednesday

Last week Hollywood Reporter reported through thursday and it was higher than Screendaily's report, which was higher than Mojo's update.

2.9m DOM/10.6m WW maintains the ~27% DOM share of last week. Going by that split, if it reaches 313m DOM on Sunday (13.8m since last sunday), it would make 51.1m globally since last sunday (around -40% drop), reaching 988m.

There will never be anything like Titanic. When I listen about it's epic run I wished I was born in that decade to have caught the hype.

Damn. Almost one page on Egypt box office, which is $2.3mn, that's something 😛

Charlie, have you got any websites which show how it's doing as an October film? As an R-rated (or 15/16 rating+); and whether there's a website which shows the all time Egyptian rankings?

Because it seems like Joker is the 5th highest grossing film of all time in Egypt; apart from being the highest grossing Hollywood film in African country - surpassing Bohemian Rhapsody ~

Only USA/Hollywood has obsession of tracking films month wise. In most of of other countries it doesn't matter.

As many here said, Joker is biggest Hollywood film in Egypt, I don't think it does matter what other categories do.
