Just to notice that the $32.2m figure reported for Spain means €29.27m (using 1.10 ER), what implies that Joker is already the biggest CBM film ever in Spain, over Endgame (€29.18m).

Joker has surpassed Avengers Endgame in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Finland, Lithuania, Egypt, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Crotia, Latvia and is about to in Ireland as well - whilst surpassing both Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home in almost 90% of its markets of release ~

I doubt movies that have already grossed so much benefit much from awards season. So I dont think 1.1B will happen. Anyway it does not matter. it has hit all targets already. Phenomenal run and to me most shocking OS run in a long time.

Actual total OS after this weekend 723.6m, 5.2m weekly and only 39.1% drop from LW. It should easily reach 730m with that kind of drop and winter holidays. Possibly 7-8m more, dont know how much awards season will help.

IT1 did 20x it's prod budget (35) with dom being ~9.4x.

DP1 ww did 13.8x 58 budget and 6.25x dom.

But how will it do if Phoenix wins the Best Actor at the Golden Globes - or if it's nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars?

Actual comes in with 600k more than estimates. So 3.7m weekly (just 29% drop over last week)  and current total is 727.3m. I think Golden Globes nomination effect already showed this previous week and with winter holidays in just few week, i think 7-8m more still possible. Safe range is 5-8m more. 

 

If this movie get expansion for awards season, i think CA:CW and SM:FFH OS total which is  745m and 741m should be the target to take Joker into top 3 OS solo CBM movie ever.
