Is that a No then?

Wouldn’t expect any serious female characters beside MJ and May, but that was mostly the case for FFH too.

Come to think of it haven’t all the (live action) spider-man movies been mostly love interest+aunt+infinite dudes?

Ah I haven’t seen the two Andrew ones, that’s a bit of a shame. Black Cat was pretty well known back in the day, although a rip off of Catwoman.

Was black cat in one of the TASM or am I just dreaming that? Maybe it was some kind of related scene?

Felicity Jones played the character in TASM2.

Well, you've also got Betty Brant, so that's 3 female leads/supports...they could bring in other female supers (Spidey has interacted a lot with a lot of female supers over the years) or Black Cat, as mentioned...

Or if it's Multiversal, they could bring the "new" Sinister Six "kids" that the comics have had...right now, they are having a Spidey comics moment with about every version ever, and there are plenty of female characters there...

Of course, then this movie starts becoming stupid expensive and packed, so I'd assume the 3 leads/supports and some "color" Shield agents and high school kids for female roles...

Decent/Good trailer. Not as good as the initial trailers for Homecoming or FFH. This one was explicitly telling us the first act of the film. Coulda been half a minute shorter. I would have cut most of Strange. Didn't need any of Wong, didn't need to see the spell going wrong, just go from Peter making his request to "be careful what you wish for Parker", then into "This Christmas" and the remainder of the trailer.

That said, I'm pumped. Molina's Doc Ock has always been my top comic book film villain, and I never in my wildest dreams thought II would see him in that role again.

Just a friendly reminder that at one point Shailene Woodley was cast to play MJ in ASM2 and even filmed some scenes before being cut out of the movie. Yes I forgot about it too lol
