Great Saturday and Sunday for Joker! Very pleasantly surprised after a more muted opening day than I had expected.

 

Still wish it got over $100M though. All these $90M+ weekends this year are annoying me. I have no idea why.

I have to disagree there. It might have started out as a few bloggers yelling, but the media got a hold of the story and it just snowballed. When on Friday just about everey major new outlet was doing the story on "the Joker" ahd the potential for violence, that is a controversy,even if a silly one.

Joker overseas opening was almost 2x last week's tracking by Deadline (75-80 million). Industry underestimated Joker's popularity outside the States by a lot.

The OS run is where it's at now. I could definitely see 400+ happening but I'm not the greatest at OS tracking. Anyone with better intel have an idea of where it'll end up?
