I'd be amazed if it came in 2021, that's a quick turnaround for an animated film. 2022 would be more realistic.

Personally, I'm not too surprised. The film looked cheap to make and the budget was only $40M. I'm sure they made the first one swiftly and I'm sure they'll make the sequel swiftly, too.

This has a B Cinemascore which is actual insanity for a children's film. A disaster
