Boy am I glad I upped my survivor predict at the last minute, lol.

I had predicted 3m at 8PM but when I checked back at 10Pm it did not increase that much. So not much boost with late shows. Also I was expecting lot more shows to be added if there were sellouts and that did not happen. It added only 3-4 shows. Maleficent did not even do that.

 

Still WIth so much tracking these numbers seem obvious at this point :-).

Most comparables would put ZL2 in the $26-$30m range.

Nope. Mid 20s more than likely. Keysers tracking showed considerable frontloading in the presales comparing Thursday to Friday. Expect less and be surprised if it surprises.

While no big surprise with the excellent tracking thread in full gear. Its still nice to have / see decent preview numbers and solidish grosses.

Yikes. Even Dumbo legs would put it barely over 40M. And going by Charlie's #s in the Tracking thread, the movie's already looking to be more frontloaded on Friday than that film.
