Yup. It'll come and go without much fanfare but its sad because this film could have been so much better with right cast and director.

I don't think the new Charlie's Angels looks bad (even if it doesn't look especially good either) but it's another IP I feel like no one cares about anymore.

lol those numbers for Arctic Dogs. Had to be seen coming considering there was little promo for it and what little promo there was made it look super cheap.

Charlie's Angels looks like a non event with charisma vacuum Ksteart. I mean really, these type of movies need likeable leads, not actresses who emanate misery.

There s a reason french auteurs like her.

The studio that's releasing 5 Avatar sequels is sweating now. :stirthepot:

it's 4 sequels

and why they should be worried? Avatar is nothing like Terminator, and also only one of them have Cameron directing / writing and doesn't have 3 bad movies behind it

I know you are a troll, but in case other people are fooled, this is a 32.8% drop from last week, which is better than last week when nothing of importance opened (and it's still on its way to a billion).

Joker is crumbling all the way to 325m, 1B WW and a profit equal or higher to Infinity War. What a failure!

Also dear God, Dark Fate will end up as flop of the year beating out Dark Phoenix. I can't believe that.

That opening is just atrocious lol

Let's hope they finally realize people don't want to see that movies anymore, at least not for about 15-20 years.

I never understood why they don't give this a rest, 5-6 years of hiatus is far from enough to people forget how bad was the predecessors.

Also the entire promotional campaign for this movie was horrible, even if the movie end up being decent.

MODERATION:

So I just literally woke up and read the last couple pages of the thread.  While it stayed pretty civil, let's remember to keep it that way.  If you want to post longer essays on the topic, or have a more in-depth discussion, we have the Diversity and Gender Representation In Movies Thread in the Speakeasy.

Thanks
