he's in now. we should get his reaction in less than 2 hours.

@PKMLover When you come back, please tell us how you liked it (better/same/worse than first), how full the auditorium was, what was the audience reaction (claps/no claps), what previews were attached and what were reactions for them?

Are claps even a good way to measure success?

Here I never saw anyone claping for any movie whatsoever 🤔

No, they happen here and there but people report them when they happen. depends on market to market. If market isn't known for clapps than no claps means nothing but it they clap than it's insane.

In Endgame opening night people clapped like 20 times during the film lol

Ha ha I remember that! fandom-driven movies tend to have claps, howls and cheers throughout on the opening day for die-hards inflate reactions. can't lie, I did it too.

From the audience viewpoint:

-4-4.5/5. The movie was enjoyable for me. I will watch it again. I am satisfied with the ending. I know this movie is animated movie with already a little more than 1h30 minutes but I want it to be longer, I am ready for it. LoL. Some parts seemed to be a little bit rushed but it was still understandable and acceptable. Well, I think the producer thought that the movie was already more than 1h30 minutes (for a animated movie) so they decided to take out some minor parts...

- I like it with the same degree as the first.

- My showtime was 6h40 PM Wednesday early sneak show. The room was around 150/269 full.

-At the end, the audience gave claps.

EDIT:  _It was 150/269 full, not 120/269 full.

_ And yes, as I thought, Show Yourself (with that set up) is the next Let It Go. Not Into The Unknown.

So Brazil, Australia, Italy, Russia, Argentina and Scandinavian countries are opening post OW. I think at least 200m OW depending on where china ends up. Its a hard movie to predict for china. May behave different from atypical cgi flick.

Brazil will absolutely destroy Frozen 1 in local currency, very likely to beat it in USD but harder to predict : the exchange rates have never been so bad there and worse ER can't even be excluded by January.

Albany Event Cinemas -Frozen II  opening day (Thur 28/11/2019)A week from release vs 3 days/12 hours to release of other films.

10:00am 14/216

11:00am 14/216

12:25pm 11/216

1:25pm 9/216

2:50pm 18/216

3:50pm 51/216

5:15pm 42/216

6:00pm GC 25/30

6:15pm 68/216

7:40pm 14/216

8:00pm GC 12/40

8:40pm 9/216

Total 287/2230 (12.87%)

Small improvement the last few days, still needs more screenings. I would say it’s moving in the right direction and I expect this last week will see a rapid improvement in ticket sales as we approach the release. I will just stick to the 3 days and 12 hours before release now which should give better comps amd give a direct comparison to TLK.

Compared to 3 days/12 hours before release of other films.

TLK

Compared 3 days before 926/5338 (17.34%) = $1.58m

Compared 12 hours before 1831/5554(32.96%) = $800,967

Hobbs and Shaw

Compared 3 Days Before 139/1456 (9.54%) = $3.3m

Compared 12 Hours Before 361/3560 (10.14%) = $1.27m

Joker

3 Days Before 160/1536 (10.41%) = $2.28m

12 Hours Before 446/2756 (16.18%) = $817,242
