Some crap how if it flops it's because men didn't go to see it

Well I'm a woman and I didn't go to see it because trailers sucked lol

She still has that DC comics show for HBO Max coming up, lol

This just in:

Dark Phoenix sent flowers and chocolates to Charlies Angels with the message "thank you for being a bigger flop than me! xoxo Dark Phoenix"

I dunno, Terminator's still a bigger embarrassment. It's gonna barely finish with over $60M total at this point.

Joaquin and DiCaprio all have similar range imho, And frankly, lately, they both do similar things in all of their roles. Pitt showed range this year, and not for the first time.

Both great at what they do, but they do tend to leans towards certain things a lot that they excel at imo. Joaquin is the master at playing weird/unstable guys, Leo always brings his 110% intense yelling effort game (idk what to call it lol).

Ive literally never even heard of the Shining until I found out that Doctor Sleep is associated with it. Yes I’m not some horror movie buff but that just goes to show you how it’s not as popular as you think.

It's a film you'll have seen parodied a million times even if you didn't know it. Ditto for a lot of other Kubrick movies.

Driver will have the added bonus of The Report and TROS and I'm sure he will great in both

He out-acts everyone else in these Star Wars movies and it's not even close, imo

Yep. For example. I love Keira Knightley who usually plays her roles so naturally and gracefully, she should have won an Oscar for Imitation Game and there were all those comments how 'she did nothing', no, she played a believable human being with a lot nuance and warmth. I hated OUATIH and Pitt was the only thing keeping me watching

Excellent point about Keira!

That Dark Fate drop. But I thought the good WOM was supposed to carry it?

I like Terminator Dark Fate but I have no idea why anyone thought that it was going to have great word of mouth??? The movie is fine but it doesn't stand out enough to have that sort of word of mouth.

FvF set up for a 4x multi? Will be a unique choice and counter-program well during holidays.

WIth strong trending over the weekend could do 31-32 ow and make it past 125 dom.

I think it’ll be 4+ comfortably, maybe reach 5.

Best thing about FvF over-performing is that it sends a signal to Iger that these kinds of movies still make money, and Fox might still be allowed to produce them moving forward. With all the Fox dramas that got killed it felt like this was going to be one of the last we get from them

I think this is true of all actors. They are all bound to exhaust whatever varieties of roles are there and start taking similar roles for there isn't anything they haven't done before. Plus, smart actors do play to their strengths which is why they have longer careers.
