If FvF follows Ad Astra, it gets to 26M. If it follows Hustlers, it gets to almost 28M. However, it could still get to 30M, since it seems to have better WOM than Astra and Hustlers this far out (99% on RT's Aud Verified!!!).

I’m not sure why this myth is still being pushed that Hustlers had bad WOM.

There's a outside chance that The Good Liar outgrosses CA's OW

I was thinking the same thing...could be a nail biter decided by having the better ticket deal:)...

Edit: Although looking at my area theaters...ummm...I'm wondering how low both can go right now:)...

Yeh I think it’s multiplier proved it was a hit with most audiences. One of my favourites of the year btw.

Regarding FVF, I was always expecting $30m OW along with BOP long range forecast. The $20m tracking surprised me. Looks like it could get close to 30 though.

I would say it'll play better on a weekday than the weekend, happened with the UK opening which was at number 4 for the weekend but has been number 1 for the majority of the weekday apart from one day.

Can't imagine it was that expensive to make, probably will have a long life with HBO Max and TV

CA reception doesn't seem so hot so far

Starts off a 84% RT Audience

btw FVF is 99%

Oof. Bad reception in China too, and critic RT has turned rotten. I expect to enjoy this as a light popcorn action comedy, but could be looking at maybe just 40M or something DOM+China...

Well, today I learned there are 4-6 movies releasing on 1/10 for some godforsaken reason.

Pretty sure they put Just Mercy in a week early accidentally because it's supposed to open wide on January 17 last I checked. But most of the January 10 releases are dumps anyway (KStew coming for back-to-back studio flops).

The-Numbers has JM listed to expand on the 10th. They might have changed it last-minute
