This is just PS. Not sure late shows will have similar pace as yesterday. I will try to update post noon to compare just the shows before noon and what % drop. Based on that we could get some idea.

The lead girl in KO is really great but the rest of the cast feels wasted. They're barely in it. You can definitely tell they managed to get that cast because it was a week's work for each, if that.

while I want to call CF opening impressive as it still holds the record, to me the 1st HG opening was cray. That opened to 152m when OW record was 169m for a finale of fan driven blockbuster.

Agreed but could die in late shows and do worse.

I could see Beautiful Day dropping less than 10% or staying flat next weekend since WOM is gonna be great. Drops over the long holiday weekend should be really good for a lot of movies, especially with only two new movies opening (and only of them expected to play in over 2,000 theaters).
