Yeah, this is a good take:)...I'd have to agree:)...although DH2 vs Endgame is a much closer call than Infinity War vs DH1.

DH1 ended and I was like fine where is the next one. DH2 was the bomb. DH1 was goblet of fire annoying for me in many regards.

Seeing this tonight. Hoping it lives up to the hype.

Going mostly because of Jamie Lee and Toni.

Lower your expectations a little. Just expect a super fun crowd pleaser. Nothing more, nothing less. You'll have a great time with it that way. There's more to it than that but not much more. Almost impossible not to recommend just for the smiles it delivers.

It is FANTASTIC.  Up there with Booksmart for best of the year.

Also if anyone lives near Regals, they have a great deal on their annual subscription this weekend.  $60 off.

Oooh Booksmart is one of my favourites of the year too!

On a side note, I seen a poster for Little Women and everyone had a small picture apart from Saoirse Ronan and.... I would change that.

my majesty is pleased to see Knives Out was a Radiohead song too on Amnesiac.

is the soundtrack to the movie any good?  nominations?

It's fine. Fits the movie well.

I don't see this getting nominations for anything outside of maybe original screenplay. Everyone is good to great in it though. Nothing that'll snag a mom though.

Thought Craig and Armas were especially great.

@ the moderators..... I wasnt saying that we cant have discussion, and I recognize the difference between the Scorsese stuff and general opinions. But it is an on going problem when this site cannot stop beating the bush of the same 1-2-3 films / issues. 4+ pages of nothing of value when we actually could have had box office talk beyond the same 4 or 5 of us that attempt to go beyond "that nice" or "thats disappointing"

Old timer that just gets tired of the same thing. Not new, it used to be other films / franchises / stars 15 years ago but not quite on the same level minus a couple of irrational fanboys like Kal 😂

Yeah 155 was always a big reach. But with a strong bump today (which I expect given that the drop from Wed was big), 135 should be doable and could get close to 140.

Yeah, thinking 135 is the high end aim overall, but as always would love to see a big positive surprise. Either way its "making up" for last weekend (or not in reality. Lol)

From what I've seen in a variety of films, F2 'should' see anywhere between 110-130% increase for Friday ($30-$33 million), more or less flat for Saturday, and about a 30-40% drop for Sunday (probably closer to 30% based on how it has been going). That gives it roughly an $86 million weekend. So the $125 million 5-day does make sense.

Hope it can do more like $35 million for today and Saturday.
