Family went to see Knives Out today. They were having projector issues where it would flicker from normal to like half power and back every couple of seconds.

I sort of got used to it, but they gave everybody a voucher for a free showing when we were coming out, so that was pretty convenient.

Sounds like they need to change the bulb.

Hmmm, 34.1 means 90 for the 3-day weekend isn't a sure thing. Depends on the Saturday drop. Hopefully it goes as flat as possible. Plus or a minus a few percentage points will make all the difference for 90 mill.

We all know that's a great number for Frozen 2, but FUCK, I wanted it to hit $36m.

I'm not even sure it's worth it for me to do a top five. I've seen so few films this year, relative to my normal. (God, I miss having free time.) There was an over 3 month gap between Hobbs & Shaw and Frozen 2.

Yeah, just checked and it looks like I've only seen 12 films this year.

Is it just me or are these numbers for Queen and Slim really damn good? Especially given the # of theatres it is in? Could surpass Widows #'s last year, which arguably had more hype, marketing, and bankability.

The Report released yesterday. Anyone seen it yet? It makes a hilarious dig at Zero Dark Thirty.

Gonna do a Driver double feature next week. King of streaming services

edit: Tim Blake Nelson is in the report too, haha that rules
