btw JUM3 is looking at $23-24 ow in China and heading to $40 total or lower which is under JUM2's ow.

Ouch.

I mean, I've been feeling very little hype for this, but dismissed that, due to the second one being the same - coming out of nowhere, really.

Let's see what it does in Western markets (I've got tickets in 3 hours, if I can make it out of work by then - so I can at least get an idea of reception).

F2 held as well over Thanksgiving as I probably should've expected, but this drop the week after is more in line with TGD-level reviews it's been getting. Guessing it'll finish around TS4 domestically.

The panick when the Friday number is less than expected:

It's actually fine. I wish I had the Olaf "This is fine" gif to describe the situation. :D

I think it's more complicated than that. Frozen II earned so far 2.5x the amount TGD made in it's entire run. It's much harder to have smaller drops when you consider all the money it made so far and the earlier release date than your typical Thanksgiving Disney movie. This weekend will still be the best post-Thanksgiving weekend ever beating F1's 31.6M.

Queen and Slim tho. Could this movie leg it to 50 million in under 2k theaters.

Theater count is gonna be wiped out with at least 8 wide releases coming up between next weekend and Christmas Day so no. $35M+ is looking good though.

LOL, Playmobil. It came out months ago in the UK and I figured it would be one of those things that play well enough in Great Britain but don't get a theatrical release here, like the Peppa Pig or Horrible Histories movies.

STX posted the trailer in July and it's still under 1 million views:

This could not seem like more of a Lego Movie knockoff if it tried. Also, Adam Lambert?! I loved American Idol back in the day, I guess the Queen concerts with him are doing well enough, but that's so random.
