Not good. The last one was entertaining, but I had no urge to watch it ever again, the trailer for this one just looks annoying.

No doubt the Rock will do an Instagram video about how “good” the China opening is lol.

That is really weird. MTC1 under indexed big time on thursday and now over indexed. I am thinking of just sticking to PS tracking.

Its a learning curve for sure and if you changed we would understand. That being said, its still nice to have somewhat of an idea what a film is doing lol. Maybe kiddie tickets are offsetting some of your comparisons? Or big city increases with MTC1 couldnt off set lesser sets in the rest of the nation?

Can somebody explain what's going on with a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Even with great reviews in a star like Tom Hanks the studio seems to have really missed a huge marketing opportunity boxoffice in Awards wise

There are multiple movies for the demographic for one and for two Sony completely bombed the marketing for the film. Should have been easier to repeat Bridge of Spies but there wasn't enough from Sony to create the need to see.

And 3rd, a nice documentary last year was a decent hit and so some already had the need met.

Well, even the Post failed to crack 100m with bigger director name, bigger award season presence, ABIN did just as expected.
