Sony/Seven Bucks Productions’ sequel stepped up its gross with another $32.6M in 52 overseas markets this weekend. That takes it to two new milestones: crossing $200M internationally for $210M to date, and topping $300M worldwide with $312M so far.

Holds in Western Europe were strong on the Dwayne Johnson-starrer, at a drop of just 37% despite major competition entering the marketplace. The UK grossed $4M (-42%) in its second weekend for a local cume of $19.6M and France took in $2.4M in its third session (-41%) for market total of $13.5M. Germany generated $3.1M in its sophomore frame, down only 28%, to take its cume to $8.4M.

Other notable holds include: Belgium (-20%), Netherlands (-31%), Sweden (-40%), Spain (-32%), Portugal (-21%), Austria (-25%), Hungary (-39%), South Africa (-29%), and the Philippines (-34%).

Upcoming key markets: Italy and Australia next frame and Brazil in January.

Any shot at $800M?

Next Level made 50 mln less than Welcome to the Jungle in China and will make around 100 mln (maybe more)less in usa&canada. It would have made as much money as welcome to the jungle in others territories.  Let's be happy for every million over 700.

WTJ did 480 OS-Ch + 78 Ch = 558 OS

TNL is 255 OS-Ch + 41 Ch = 296 OS after 61+ OS-Ch weekend while China was in decimals.

2*61+ should be achievable for 122+ more giving 377+ OS-Ch + 41 Ch = 418 OS

After the OS 61.6 weekend came out felt excited and 750-800 felt like the global range but don't know how it will hold up OS-Ch post holidays. Realistically 725-750 is a better range and a good result.

Approx drops from WTJ would look like

Dom 405 to 310, -23.5%

OS-Ch 480 to 380, -21%

Ch 78 to 41+, -47.5%

= WW 962 to 731, -24%

(JW2 fell 20% but China did well was a bigger % of WW than for TNL: 20% vs 5%)

If TNL can do 20-24 in these countries (20-30% drop from WTJ) then 750 is very likely.

U.K. - $27.9M France - $18.3M Russia - $14.6M Indonesia - $14.4M Germany - $14.2M Mexico - $13.5M Malaysia - $12.2M  India - $8.6M If I'm correct it's 123.7 m, WTJ made(again if i'm correct) around 187, so it's already 66%.

Next weekend should be good, 6th january is a holiday in few countries so sunday should be inflated.

 Deadline:

Jumanji: The Next Level is closing in on its predecessor, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. With a $548.8M worldwide gross through January 2, the Dwayne Johnson-starrer now counts $209.7M domestic and $339.1M from the international box office. Comparatively at the same time in release, Next Level is slightly ahead (+3%) of the previous installment overseas and when excluding China.UK ($33.37M), France ($20.66M), Germany ($16.57M) and Indonesia ($15.1M).

So if i understand it correctly between 13dec-jan 2 JNL made 3% more money (os-chi) than JWttJ between dec20-jan9. It would be great because in next few days there is catholic holidays and orthodox christmas so this weekend and next weekdays should be very good for jumanji. With Brazil release it should make more than 400m (os-chi).

Those 2 Jan estimates are great for this movie.

$210m OS (by 22 december)

$296m OS (by 29 december) with a $61.6m weekend so $24.4m in weekdays.

$339m OS (by 02 Jan) means $43m in 4days it's fair to asume another 42m over FSS (New opening in Argentina and Greece) this would but the total up to $381m OS by Jan 5th.

Weekly it would mean $86m week and a $85m week respectively.

Comming weeks

06-12 jan: $30m (Down 65%)

13-19 jan: $24m (6m OW in brazil other markets down 40%)

20-26 jan: $14.5m (5m Brazil full 2nd week other markets down 45%)

And then another $20m added.

This would put OS at $469m,

OS-CH: 428m (down 10.8%)

That would be a great hold from the first one.

Because of venezuela crisis you should also exclude this country. JWttL made more than 14 mln, and JNL will do 2-3% of this number. So 428 will be around 92% OS-CH-Ven of previous movie.

42.4m international weekend to 374m overseas total

Worldwide total at 610m

It was 339m before weekend so 42m, should give 381m.
