Well EndGame was the finale of what could be one of the greatest combined storytelling seen in Hollywood, with over 22 movies and 11 years and people being emotionally attached to it.

TROS is well..... Some movie franchise which USED to be biggest, now it's not, now it's just a popular enough franchise running on the fumes of past glory.

This is a finale too

Mostly due to the fact that almost all Star Wars movies look and feel the same whereas Marvel as of late switches up the genre and tone

That, and MCU films, like the comics they're based on, are made for more frequent chapters. This is one of the many reasons I consider MCU films almost an entirely different medium at this point. They don't play by the rules that most other film franchises do. When you read comics, you don't just read 1, maybe 2 a year. You buy the latest issue every month or whatever. That's the beauty of MCU films, the audience is consuming them almost exactly like they would the comics themselves. It just works.

The MCU is also meticulously planned, and parts of the grand plan are sort of shared with audiences ahead of time so there's a built-in investment. People aren't going "Ugh, another Marvel movie?" because they know each and every instalment has value in the form of telling the audience the next chapter, or issue, in the overall huge story.

Star Wars movies, even if they follow a story arc as well are more of a classic movie event in and of themselves. They may be leading to something, but not for long (so far they're either presented in trilogies or individual spin-offs). There has to be a degree of freshness and novelty to them.

I know Christmas but TFA is still biggest film in USA and many big markets.

That's why i said its running on the fumes of past glory.

It was definitely the biggest at one point, that's why TFA became that big, of became extremely hyped, the buzz, the pop cultural phenomenon and what not.

But then TLJ came and it started dawning that maybe this franchise isn't that popular outside USA and EuroJap.

I mean TFA did 125 million in China due to all hype and in some other countries and even in India, it managed a crappy opening, but signs were there when this one dropped in markets where Star Wars wasn't big, it means TFA couldn't attract non SW markets despite whatever it did in domestic.

Now see the so called finale of greatest franchise struggling to match opwning weekend of a Captain America movie, obviously it had the avengers, but still.

Marvel (and DC) are different from traditional franchises. They're more like brands that consist of up to dozens of individual franchises. Each year there are multiple entries, but all are from different sub-franchises. Each sub-franchises has several year gap between installments, for example Doctor Strange 2 is coming 5 year after the first, and GotG  vol 3 is coming 6 years after Vol 2. This way the brand is fresh in people's mind but you're not overusing any one character. SW is like one of these sub-franchises, and no matter how much people love Iron Man, they'd be tired of him pretty soon if there were annual or biennial Iron Man movies/spin-offs.

I think TROS got caught in the perfect storm of the fallout of TLJ/Solo and the decline in or totally non-existent interest in Star Wars post-TFA worldwide. I don't think it's just one or the other.

So after this weekend, what can be the final total for F2?

It is at 387 after a 12.8 weekend

don't have a strong opinion but guessing 7x this weekend more which gives 476 (3.66x)
