A lot of people are posting on Twitter about how they cancelled their reservations and showed their refunds or cancellations on phone caps. Wow man, this movie had so much potential.

Wow...see, I didn't think folks would go this far...but if it becomes the cool thing to do...

I would be canceling mine right now except it's what my family wants to see for Christmas day and we always see a movie together. I have no choice. Otherwise no way I'd be seeing this. Even if they refused to refund my tickets.

Are you sure they still do?  Reviews and WOM have a way of changing folks minds...

That said, I'll still be there Dec 26 with my $2.50 tickets...my boys are still all in with the older one saying he just likes all the actions scenes, so if it's space battle after lightsaber battle after space battle, he'll be happy...and I'll be thankful I got tickets in before Disney put in the "no discount tickets" clause...

Yeah they still want to see it. Not the type to read reviews.

This is exactly what I'm afraid of. People nowadays are just so social media obsessed and follow the hard. All it takes is to see someone's photo of a refunded ticket and then they want to do it and then more people want to do it because they want to be included in whatever is trending.

If you are interested in the movie, just go see the damn movie is my opinion. I'll admit I'm very troubled by the reactions but it doesnt change my intention to see it for myself one iota. I guess a measure of self confidence and assurance without the need for validation on social media will do that though.

Cancelling thing is just a vocal minority. Most people won't want to go to the effort and many people don't care about critics regardless.

The only positive review is from Common Sense Media, a conservative family site. LOL

I guess not.  Oddly a lot of people are saying it's like cat porn. I don't get it.

More divisive than SW

Also, I looked up "star wars", "star wars tickets", "star wars refund" and whatever on Twitter, and I have yet to see these screen caps Cappoe is talking about. I'm sure they exist, but a bunch of randos sending out a tweet that probably only has like three likes isn't really some sort of movement or whatever.
